I was on holiday, in Exeter Devon ,England, when a fellow tourist said to me,"Have you been to Beer ?", i said i like beer, the reply was, i mean the pretty village of Beer. Needless to say i looked it up. I caught the bus from Exeter, taking about 50 minutes.--BEER DEVON. Parish church of St, Michael. With the name Beer in white stones.

-------The village of Beer ,is in East Devon England, facing Lymn Bay, on the 95 mile long Jurassic Coast. Population is about 1300. The sheltered beach is shingeal, with plenty of coloured fishing boats. The cliffs are white chalk. There are plenty of coastal walks. -------I AM SORRY TO SAY ,I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO EAT, OR DRINK A PINT OF BEER.

Who would name a village "Beer"? Sorry you didn't have time for A Beer. :)

Hi, Alec! Well done! You've been to Beer! I like visiting such outstanding places...

Looks beautiful. I could easily get my husband to visit there. Just have to tell him the name of the village.

Looks a nice spot to visit, ideally to enjoy a pint!

You have to love a village called Beer. You really must return and drink a beer to say you had a beer in Beer.
